People managed to understand what are these used for, but still, even in the 21st century, only a few of us realize their importance. If you are into meditation then you should study the amazing sound of the singing bowls. Those that had the opportunity to visit the Himalayan mountain peaks with the unique monasteries know that the monks that live in those “God forgotten” places practice sound meditation on a daily basis. They realize that our human bodies are basically water, and the cells and the structure of atoms ca be influenced in a way or another. The easiest and most effective method to do it is by producing different sounds.

Anyway, what I would also like to say is that most beginners that only start practicing meditation get allured pretty fast by these ancient and good looking bowls and they instantly seek solutions to order them and maybe “hurry” their overall learning process and curve. Well, they still need to understand that they cannot confuse time. It passes like it should no matter what we think and no matter how we act. It is just a matter of time till everything is understood by our minds. Sometimes, if we simply cannot get something (read get as realize or understand) while meditating then this doesn’t mean that it is impossible. Often, the main cause is the fact that we haven’t yet attained that special level that is required to acknowledge a certain phenomena, truth or aspect.

When dealing with meditation, you have to work hard, you have to prove yourself that you change little by little. You have to overcome your own weaknesses and become stronger. There are different types of meditations. There is the famous walking zen meditation that is often practiced by traveling monks of Zen monasteries and there is the well known sitting zen aka zazen. The last one requires a pretty powerful character, determination and will because sooner or later you’ll feel that the pain in your legs is not only killing you but is keeping you awake and the pain is irresistible. This is where masters of zen claim that you gain that something that most of the humans that live in cities and don’t have any idea about self awareness can’t understand.

However, if you have the opportunity to get a singing bowl in your meditation schedule it is definitely going to help, no matter what type of meditation you practice. Tibetan singing bowls are very famous nowadays for several reasons. First of all, they deal with an exotic domain that most westerners simply don’t have any clue about. Also take into consideration that we are talking about the majority of people that live the rat race and don’t have time to think about important things like their health status. However, they do, but often it is just too late. Well, what we are trying to say is that the amazing sound of Tibetan singing bowls is so attractive that people actually improve their meditation skills when they connect such a bowl to their meditation program.
